                                                                     With The Lou Gramm Band
on bass: I usually use my Yamaha BB400 bass. This bass came with an over
wound P-bass pickup, and I added a Jazz bass pickup in the bridge position. I
play through 2, Ampeg SVT heads and 2, SVT 8-10 cabinets.

on guitar: I alternate between my black Fender Telecaster with a maple
neck and a cherry red Brodesser custom made guitar. It looks and feels
like an early Les Paul TV model but has a mahogany body and a PAF
humbucking pickup. I play through 2, 100 watt
Marshall heads and 2, 4-12 Marshall cabinets
                                                                           with no external processing.

In the Studio
on bass: I've been recording with my vintage 1970s Fender Jazz
Bass. It has a natural finish, a maple neck and sounds great with just
                                            a good direct box.

on guitar: I have a USA built Dean with a white Start style body, ebony neck and EMG pickups that I run through my Galien Kreugar ML250 as a pre amp.

                                                                         My Favorite Guitar
I have a 1963 cherry red Gibson SG-Les Paul standard that I bought in the late 1960s from a friend of mines brother who was heading to Vietnam. It has battle scars from every band that I played in from the 1960s through the 1990s until I finally retired it to a stand in the corner of my bedroom.

 My Strangest Guitar
I have a double neck made up of a Fender guitar neck, a Fender bass neck and a walnut body made for me by Ryan Brodesser. It's perfect for some of the bands that I've played both guitar and bass and I've never seen another one like it
