A native of Buffalo, NY, Cindy Sams has sung
professionally since her teen years, but only recently
kicked it into full gear! Cindy's passion and drive
have propelled her to front a highly successful classic
rock band while, at the same time, performing within a
popular acoustic rock duo. Her rich background in rock,
pop, jazz and singing back-up vocals add up to a very
versatile, mesmerizing performer! She is proud to have
shared a stage with such national artists as Lynyrd
Skynyrd, Lou Gramm, Black Sheep and
Lew Soloff.
In addition to loving the excitement of the live stage,
Cindy is a studio addict! She's been thrilled to record
background vocals for albums recorded by Lou Gramm,
Jessica Hamilton, The Niche, and Jeff
Cosco. Cindy is proud to be working on her own
original album and can't wait to share it with the
world!
When she's not performing herself, Cindy's favorite
thing to do is to go out and enjoy the fun and talent of
fellow performers in her area. |
She's a staunch advocate of supporting live music and is
in awe of the great bands and singers right in her own
backyard! She's full of thanks and admiration for all
that these tremendous performers have taught her through
example, insight and inspiration, most notably
Jeff Cosco.

"I'm grateful to have reached a point in my life that is
so full of happiness! My heart belongs to a sweet,
sexy, amazing man that I fall more in love with every
day! We share a life with 3 incredibly smart, sassy,
loving kids and an extended family that makes it all
worthwhile! And, of course, there's my second family:
my band (they're perverted, but that's what I love about
'em!)!
When I do get some free time, I love the beach
(especially when I can throw on my bikini and lay by the
ocean!). I've got a lot of nervous energy! I love to
dance, sing loud, cuddle with my Baby, tease my kids and
network on my-space. I also love to cook (my sauce is
killer, and I'm not even Italian!). My favorite
indulgence is this chocolate-rum-raspberry-mocha cake
that they make at Leo's bakery (with Starbucks Yukon
Blend as a chaser....yum!!!).
One of the most insightful phrases I've ever heard was
written by my daughter, Lily: "If you be someone else it
won't last for long, so it is better being yourself"
"Be yourselves........." |
